I’ve always been an artist, from the time I could hold a crayon. Making a living in the arts was never a question, and choosing just one path was far too narrow. Over 25 years as an art director and photographer, and 15 years teaching my kids to express themselves through art has brought me a lifetime of purpose and fulfillment. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Working with my clients, whom I call friends, to capture memories that will last lifetimes, is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I aim to capture the tiny moments of unguarded authenticity where moms and dads will see their children’s personalities truly expressed in the images. Finding those moments of true connection produce a result that is valued far beyond just a pose or pretty picture.

Giving my clients a bird’s eye view of their own beauty is why I do what I do.

Also, I am a breast cancer survivor. An important aspect of my life has been finding a way to turn my cancer journey into something remarkable and a blessing to those around me. I have found that purpose as a certified areola micro pigmentation specialist for other breast cancer survivors who have undergone reconstruction. I have been tattooing for the past six years and have seen roughly 500 patients. Being a part of their final step in reconstruction, helping them to feel whole, beautiful, and normal again, is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever been blessed with.
